Why Reciting the Dua Before Sleeping Matters
The dua before sleeping is a reminder of our dependence on Allah for everything, including our rest and the protection of our soul. By reciting these supplications, Muslims acknowledge that Allah controls life and death and turn to Him in both gratitude and hope.
Benefits of Reciting the Dua Before Sleeping
- Spiritual Protection: Many of the duas before sleeping ask Allah for protection from the trials of the Hereafter, the punishment of the grave, and the whispers of Satan. This ensures a peaceful night’s rest, both physically and spiritually.
- Gratitude and Humility: Through the dua before sleeping, Muslims thank Allah for His provision, sustenance, and shelter, acknowledging His care and mercy throughout the day.
